Islamist political party Jamaat-e-Islami protests against water shortages in Karachi, Pakistan, Friday (May 20).

They protest against the non-availability of Water at Shahr e Faisal road. In the ongoing hot weather that has touched 42 to 44 degrees, the shortage of water has irked the masses over which political party has demanded the Water Board officials and government for early resolving the water issue as soon as possible.

The climate change has caused an acute water shortage in Karachi, Pakistan, where the drinking water shortage has risen. Canals and dams are shrinking due to which seasonal crops are badly affected.
