The MTA (New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority) released special edition MetroCards on Saturday, May 21, celebrating the 50th birthday of famous American rapper Christopher Wallace, well known as "Notorious B.I.G." or "Biggie Smalls," who was killed in a shooting in Los Angeles in 1997.
A large number of his fans formed long lines at the stations in Brooklyn to purchase the limited card.
