Video captured the moment of People climbing on roofs to avoid flash floods in Vinh Phuc, Northern Vietnam.
According to local people, flash floods suddenly appeared after heavy rain, making them unable to collect their belongings. Everyone tries to move to the highest place such as the roof, the 2nd floor to avoid the floodwater is rushing into the house. Some villagers tried to move their pigs indoors to avoid floodwaters.
Locals said it was the biggest flash flood they had ever seen in the area. In the past, there was almost no flash flood in the area. The people were then moved to a safe place by the rescue force.
After the floodwater receded, the support work is underway. It is estimated that thousands of households were affected by the flood.
