A car rear-ended vehicles that were involved in a pile-up seconds after the motorists evacuated in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Jinhua in Zhejiang Province on May 20 shows three vehicles stopped next to the central reservation after being involved in an accident.

A highway police officer was heard talking to the motorists on the phone: "Did you have an accident? All people move to the outside of the barriers, otherwise the car will crash into yours."

Only four seconds after all people from the three cars evacuated, a white car rear-ended the vehicles.

Thanks to the police officer, no one was injured.
