'Firefighters go airborne to fight the destructive, wind-powered Monte Vista wildfire '
'What may look like scenes from a distressing disaster movie are actually real-life clips from the day (April 20, 2022) a wind-powered wildfire blazed through the city of Monte Vista.
"I’m a volunteer firefighter who got paged at 12:15 to a structure fire that turned out to be multiple structures and ended up burning 17 acres," the filmer, Landon Tolsma revealed.
The footage includes shots of airtankers neutralizing the fire to prevent it from spreading any further.
It's worth mentioning that said wildfire impacted around 100 residencies.
