TikTok users stunned by ‘mind-blowing’ Nando’s hack– that even staff don’t know
TikTok users have been left shocked after a man shared a simple way to get the famous peri-peri sauce out of the bottle with ease.
Alex Truesdale, 20, from Liverpool, was with his friend Emily Purdham when they decided to visit their Nando’s for a cheeky bite to eat.
The make-up artist, who also works in social media, was shocked when his friend showed him the best way to get the sauce out of the bottle easily.
Alex posted the video to TikTok (@artistrybyal) with his 12,000 followers.
In the clip, Alex can be heard saying: "I was 20 years old to discover that you have to rub the top of a Nandos bottle to get the sauce to come out, what?!"
While he speaks, his friend Emily can be seen holding the glass bottle upside down.
She then rubs the bottom of the bottle in a circular motion, allowing the sauce to flood out, before popping it back on the table.
Alex adds: "Mind is blown."
The video was viewed over 757,000 times and has garnered 31,000 likes.
One person commented: "And I was there nearly breaking the plate."
While another said: "I work in Nando’s didn’t even know this!"
Someone else commented: "Omg but why do actually assault the bottle & it still doesn't work," followed by a laughing emoji.
"Not me shaking it till my arm falls off," said one viewer.
"You are joking? I get so frustrated and feel I'm gonna throw it across the restaurant," said someone else. [sic]
"It was only my second visit to Nando’s and my friend started rubbing the bottom of the sauce bottle – I was mesmerised," Alex told Jam Press.
"She learned the hack herself from going to Nando’s constantly whereas I have only been twice and I didn’t even know this or seen this ever!"
