This adorable African Hedgehog has an amazing ability to appear to deflate, then inflate, at will.

The hedgehog's name is Iriska, she is 10 months old and lives in Moscow, Russia.

This non-exclusive video also shows another interesting habit known to some hedgehogs: "self-anointing".

When a hedgehog finds a new scent, it froths at the mouth and then spreads its own saliva on back. No one is entirely sure why they do this but it could help them remember new smells, or be a form of stress release.
