On May 28, an ash ejection to a height of up to 5,000 meters was recorded from the Bezymyanny volcano.

It is noted that the ejection plume left the giant to the east towards the Kamchatka Bay. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, there are no settlements along the route of the plume. In this regard, it is assumed that the release of the danger to local residents was not.
