An enormous port fender flew off a truck in Vladivostok, Russia, before bouncing off a car below, on 27 May.

Despite being inflatable, the massive size of the fender still caused it to crush the Mitsubishi Galant.

Port fenders are used to absorb the blow of ships' hulls against harbour walls during mooring.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt and the driver was not inside the car at the time.

The port fender fell from a truck onto a passenger car in Vladivostok.

The Fuso truck was transporting a port fender in the back, which is used to absorb the blows of the ship's hull against the berth during the mooring process. While driving, the load was loosened and it fell onto a parked Mitsubishi Galant car. The car received damage to the rear of the body.

Nobody was hurt in the accident. The driver was not inside the car.
