A trio of jackdaws casually plucked hairs from a moulting red deer in London.

Filmed by Laurent Chatton, this close-up footage is of a clattering of smart jackdaws preventing the comfy deer hair from going to waste.

"These jackdaws are pulling fur from a moulting red deer to gather material for a comfy nest," Laurent said.

The red deer seems unbothered by the bird plucking away at its loose hair.
