Chinese firefighters undertook rescue works in the aftermath of the 6.1-magnitude earthquake on June 1 in Ya ‘an, Sichuan province.

Multiple clips show firefighters organising excavators to repair a road that has been damaged by landslides and help with damaged houses in a village.

According to local media reports, the earthquake has left four people dead and 14 injured.

The reports also suggest that the Lushan 6.1-magnitude earthquake was an aftershock of the 7.0-magnitude earthquake in 2013, which killed at least 196 people. The two earthquakes are just nine kilometers apart in the Shuangshi-Dachuan seismic zone.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
