A south Londoner crochets adorable Jubilee postbox topper with figures of the Queen and her beloved corgis

A dedicated knitter has made a Platinum Jubilee-themed postbox topper to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's 70 years on the throne in South London (June 1).

The detailed creation features the Queen with her beloved corgis, a Beefeater and Queen's guard. There is even a flag holder for a couple of Union Jacks.

Postbox toppers became popular during the Covid lockdown, when knitters and crocheters 'yarn-bombed' local streets to brighten up their communities.
