Aerial video taken on May 26, 2022 shows the ruins of an ancient barracks in yichang, Central China's Hubei province.

In xiaofeng Area, Huanghua Town, Yiling District, Yichang City, Hubei Province, on the north bank of Xiling Gorge of Yangtze River, there is a site of ancient barracks community. The barracks are all built on the top of gufeng dangerous rock with huge stone barricades.

The building materials are all bare stones such as square stones and stone strips, and the stone seams are neatly matched without any filling materials such as mortar. According to preliminary research, gubingzhai group should be a military defense line at the border of Ba and Chu in ancient times.
