Baby loon swimming on its own in the bay while the mother watches over
We were very fortunate to have a baby loon grow up in our bay at the cottage, as this does not happen every year. In this video, a baby loon is seemingly swimming on its own, until you hear a loon call in the background and realize that the mother is close by watching. After the loon call, the baby starts to swim towards the mom, leaving a tiny wake in its path. The scene is tranquil as the water is perfectly calm.
