Daring man releases more than 20 venomous snakes in the wild in northern India
A daring man released over 20 venomous snakes in the wild in northern India's Himachal Pradesh.
The incident took place in a forest in the Kullu district of the state on May 27.
Visuals showed the man walking deep inside the forest with a big basket.
Once he finds a suitable spot, he opens the basket and proceeds to take out one snake one after the other.
The man takes out more than 20 snakes, holds them over his head and slowly lets them go.
The rescuer has been identified as Sonu Thakur. Thakur rescued the snakes from different spots and released them together in their natural habitat, away from humans, to avoid a man-animal conflict.
