A temple elephant in South India celebrated its birthday happily with a big feast and wishes from its human pals.
Location: Trichy district of Tamilnadu State in South India.
Akila is a temple elephant that belong to Akilandeeshwari temple. It was brought here during her very young age and now this elephant is turning 20.
The temple authorities decided to celebrate the birthday of the Temple elephant in a grand manner. The elephant was given bath decorated and was taken to the temple premises.
In front of the devotees and the authorities the elephant celebrated its birthday as her birthday song was sung.
It was given a grand feast consisting of fruits vegetables peanut candies etc.
It even nodded it's head as a gesture of thanks.
