'It's true that elevators have made life quite easy, but getting stuck in one is no fun, and the naughty kids highlighted in this video learned this lesson the hard way.

This footage shows a McDonald's manager figuring out a way to open a stuck elevator door from the outside.

"It was my daughter's birthday and she wanted McDonald's for dinner," the filmer, Elize Klaassen said. "We went there and saw the manager a little stressed out. We noticed the elevator was stuck and four kids were in there. I recorded the whole thing."

In the end, the elevator rescue mission turns out to be a success, and that too without the involvement of specialized personnel.
