Firefighters free student locked in his home and drive him to exam centre in China
Firefighters freed a student who was locked in his home and then drove him to an exam centre in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province on June 7 shows firefighters using a portable door opener to break the door lock and free a student trapped at home.
The firefighters then drove the student to the exam centre for the country's famous college entrance exam.
According to Guangzhou Fire Department, the boy's family locked the door when sleeping and found that they could not open the lock the next morning when they were about to send the boy to the exam centre.
Since the exams were about to start, they called the firefighters for help.
The firemen took only six minutes to free the boy and then sent him to the exam centre before the gate closed.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
