This is the moment a car rammed into a house after its driver forgot to set the parking brakes in Thailand.

Footage shows the white Honda, which was left in 'neutral' instead of park, slowly rolling forward down a slope in Loei province on June 1.

It knocked down a table before crashing into the house. The impact damaged a glass door, as well as the car's bumper and headlights.

Car owner Numonrat Soonthornsarathun said she has been using the vehicle for over 10 years and has never had a problem with it before.

She said: 'I heard the sound of a puppy crying, so I got out of the car to look. I might have accidentally placed it in neutral gear and released the handbrakes.

'I was so surprised because when I turned back, it was already rolling down.'

The handbrake parking fail was caught on camera by the CCTV around the family's home.
