Residents Are Afraid to Leave Office Buildings and Hospitals During an Earthquake of 5.8 Magnitude in Mamuju, Indonesia
This is the condition of residents who came out of office buildings when an earthquake of 5.8 magnitude struck Mamuju City, West Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, Wednesday 8 June 2022.
Residents ran out of the office so that Tyda would not be hit by the rubble of a building that was destroyed by the earthquake.
In this video, the condition of the West Sulawesi Governor's PKK office building is damaged. The ceiling walls fell and the office building's glass shattered. A number of items scattered.
Not only that, patients from the general hospital in the Mamuju area were also forced to run outside the hospital grounds to evacuate when the earthquake occurred.
A number of patients who experience this disease are currently being treated in the hospital grounds.
The Mamuju Search and Rescue office said,
The earthquake was in the sea at a distance of 43 kilometers to the southwest, Mamuju Regency.
Earthquake shocks were felt in Mamuju Regency, Central Mamuju Regency, Majene Regency, to Donggala Regency, Palu City, Central Sulawesi province.
There were no reported casualties as a result of this earthquake.
