CCTV Footage Shows Students and Lecturers Exiting Campus Buildings During a 5.8 Magnitude Earthquake in Majene

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 in Mamuju Regency was also felt in Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.

As seen in this CCTV footage at the University of West Sulawesi.

A number of students, college students, and lecturers rushed out of the university building when the earthquake shook.

The Mamuju Search and Rescue office said,
The earthquake was in the sea at a distance of 43 kilometers to the southwest, Mamuju Regency.

Earthquake shocks were felt in Mamuju Regency, Central Mamuju Regency, Majene Regency, to Donggala Regency, Palu City, Central Sulawesi province.

There were no reported casualties as a result of this earthquake.
