Footage shows a bright pink desert being prepared at a corner shop in Myanmar.

This minimart makes the popular Indian dessert called 'falooda,' which is commonly eaten during summertime or special occasions.

Footage shows staff of the HIN THA Minimart, a Burmese shop in Singapore, preparing the layered delicacy, which is usually made from a base of rose syrup, vermicelli noodles called 'falooda sev,' basil seeds, and full fat milk.

However, other ingredients such as fruits and nuts may also be added to create different varieties of the hearty dessert.

The solid ingredients are first layered inside containers before adding creamy and rich full fat milk and finally topping it off with some ice cream.

The refreshing treat is believed to have originated from Iran, where a dessert called 'faloodeh' is made using similar ingredients.
