The Prime Minister could be forgiven for feeling flat recently.

To mark the troubles the British Prime Minister is going through, a Thai chef has cooked up a cartoon caricature version of the troubled political leader as a pancake.

Footage shows how artistic cook Thanabadee Tongan, 36, rustles up the sweet treat from his market stand Happy Pancake in Chonburi province, eastern Thailand.

Thanabadee said: 'I know Boris Johnson because of his hair. I've seen the funny pictures of him in the news. He's easy to draw as he has a funny appearance.'

The cook was an airbrush painter before he turned to making hot pancakes which quickly became a crowd favourite because of their intricate designs.

Thanabadee hand pipes colourful batter onto a hot grill, which doubles as a canvas, while he draws out the cartoon images of famous people

Other famous figures turned into pancakes to be eaten include Queen Elizabeth II, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Britney Spears, Will Smith and Christiano Ronaldo.

Thanabadee had even made a pancake of the historic TV moment Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars ceremony last month.

The chef said: 'I only started to become famous when I made videos and posted them on TikTok. Everybody loved it and I think I might move to Bangkok as there are more customers over there.

'My stall has grown in popularity and now people come here just to watch me make the pancakes.'

With his artistic experience, Thanabadee can squeeze the hot flour and form awesome celebrity and popular cartoons by just looking at his iPad screen.

The skilled chef can also make a portrait pancake by just looking at his customer's face.

Happy Pancakes opens every day from Monday to Saturday from 4 PM to late at night.
