Massive explosion at petrochemical plant in China
A dramatic video has emerged from China of the moment a huge explosion occurred at a petrochemical factory.
In the footage, captured in Shandong Province on Thursday, a huge fire can be seen in the distance, before another explosion erupts, leading to more blazes.
According to news reports, the accident was caused by a gas leak during a regular product transfer operation.
A total of 832 fire fighters and 125 fire engines fought the flames, and it took them 24 hours to put out the fires.
Two firemen suffered minor injuries, but there were no casualties among local residents.
