Alert RPF cops saved a woman after she slipped and fell while trying to board a running train in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident happened at the Betul station on June 7.

CCTV footage showed the woman slip and fall while trying to get on the Patliputra express that had stopped on platform number two at the station.

The train had just started gaining pace as it headed towards Itarsi. Two cops on duty in civil dress rushed to the woman's aid and prevented her from falling into the gap between the platform and the train.

It has been learnt that she had gotten down the train to get some drinking water when it had stopped at the station. But she couldn't make it in time and hence, had to hurriedly rush and board the train that was moving.

The two cops, named Kapil Dev Jharwade and Sunil Kumar Paswan were the ones who pulled off the rescue act. They would be rewarded for their work.
