A man slipped while boarding a moving train in western India's Maharashtra.

The incident happened on platform number 2 of the Nanded railway station on Tuesday, June 7.

Video footage showed two people rushing to board the train as it started moving. While one of them got into the train, the other slipped and fell. The two people had reportedly gotten down the train for food.

He was then saved from falling into the gap between the platform and the train by a policeman, who was standing nearby at the platform during that time.

The RPF cop named Sandeep Gowande, dragged the man out of trouble in quick time, preventing a tragedy.

The train, which was travelling from Dhanbad to Kolhapur was eventually stopped when someone pulled the chain and the man boarded it to continue his journey.
