Ukrainian drone records itself being obliterated by Russian missile
This first-person POV footage shows the moment a Ukrainian drone was obliterated by a Russian missile.
The unmanned aerial vehicle was reportedly flying over Polohy City in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia Oblast when it was shot out of the sky by Russian artillery on June 4.
The 45th Air Assault Brigade of Ukraine shared the video showing how the rocket zeroed in on the drone before the recording cuts to black.
The drone had allegedly bombarded a depot in the Russian-occupied city before it was struck down.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a ‘special military operation' in Ukraine's Donbas region late February. He said in a public address on February 24: ‘We decided to launch a special military action aimed at demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine.'
The United Nations said more than 14 million people have fled Ukraine since the invasion.
