Wild green snake found resting on family's rice pot after flood in Myanmar
A wild green snake was found resting on top of a family's rice pot after a flood in Myanmar.
Footage shows the serpent coiled around the cooking untensil as confused family members discuss what to do with it in Taunggyi on June 4.
House owner Thein Tun said: ‘This green snake is so brave. We were just inside the room and when we came out, it was already looking for food in the kitchen.'
The snake was released back into the woods. Thein added that the snake could have been looking for a shelter since part of their village was submerged in flood.
He said: ‘It had been raining and part of our village was flooded so it could have been looking for a shelter from the storm.'
