In a heartwarming case of Love and care a caring husband rips the chest of the hilly area and drined out water of it for his wife . This story is from Madhya Pradesh Sidhi district’s Barbandha Gram Panchayat village where Hari Singh's wife used to go to fetch water 2 km away from his home daily . Hari singh seeing his wife's daily problem decided to do something for her.
Hari Singh ( Age 40) said that he was very upset about his wife Siyavati's water problem, his wife had to bring water from 2 km away and the problem of his wife is not seen from him. Due to which he dug the mountain surrounded by rocks and dug a well 20 feet wide, 60 feet deep. Hari singh further says that eh started 3 years back and results are being seen now , now daily they are able to fetch out some water from the well , hari singh adds there still much to do and the digging of this well will continue. This village with a population of 3000, people and problem of water still persist in the area , during summers the problem get compounded .
Hari Singh has been accompanying his wife Siyawati and two children and a child for three years to help him in digging the well. Hari adds that he several times approached the local officials for water solution but there was no concrete solution . Sarpanch representative of the gram panchayat Barbandha says that we tried for their well mining work, but the lease document which they had with them is in the name of his uncle and he has gone missing, due to which his well was not found himself ..
In the beginning it seemed very difficult as we have to dug the whole stone. Also there was not a single layer soil, but instead of sitting down, I made me understand that nothing is impossible . Now the villagers have started calling him ghe Mountain man of the village
