A daring cop was seen saving the life of a man who slipped while boarding a train in southern India's Tamil Nadu.

The incident took place in Chennai Central Station on June 10.

Visuals, captured on CCTV camera, showed a man running towards a moving train trying to get in. He slipped while doing so but managed to get hold of the railing of the door.

He lost balance because of the weight of his bags and started to hang from the train, barely clinging on. A brave cop standing beside rushed towards the man and pulled him away from the train. There was another man beside him who helped the victim.

According to reports, train number 12675 (Kovai Express) arrived at Platform number 11 which was travelling from Chennai Central to Coimbatore Junction. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable named Ram Kisan Meena saved the life of the 22-year-old passenger Poovarasan who slipped while boarding a moving train.

With the miraculous instant act of the on-duty staff, the life of the passenger was saved by pulling him out at the time when he was about to fall into the gap between the platform and the moving train.
