I was in holding the camera, I was on my back home from Wolverhampton when we spotted the smoke on the M6. We proceeded to find where it was coming from. We parked up on Aston Church Road and proceeded to record what was happening. Details are quite sketchy over the cause but we could see the fire crew had an aerial platform in place on the North side of the site. The flames were about 20ft high. Most major routes were closed leading anywhere near the Kappa site. On Aston Road fire fighters were pumping water from the canal running along side of Kappa. We left after about 30 minutes due to my asthma acting up a little. On the way home we notice Ash fallout along the roads. It was falling like snow.
