Heart-stopping moment tricycle grazes truck after overtaking on wet road
This is the heart-stopping moment a tricycle grazed the side of a truck after overtaking on a wet road in the Philippines.
The three-wheeler was filmed speeding past driver Edmund Tobias's vehicle as they travelled along Muñoz City in Nueva Ecija province on May 17.
It then swerved to avoid an SUV making a turn at an intersection, but barreled right into the path of an oncoming truck.
Luckily, the tricycle only scraped its side and returned to the lane after the scary near-miss accident.
Edmund said: 'Motorists should be careful especially when it rains. The roads become quite slippery, so we should avoid improper overtaking. Be a responsible and defensive driver.'
