A couple from the US state of Illinois pretended to take a family photo and then broke the news of their pregnancy to their loved ones.

The video captured on May 9 by Isabel Wherry shows the family members posing for what they believe is a still photo.

"Everybody smile, Isabel is pregnant," exclaims Wherry's husband from the back of the room.

At first, the family members think the dad-to-be is just messing with them but gradually the penny drops that this is a real announcement.

"My husband and I wanted to share the news of our 3rd baby in a fun way!" Wherry said.

"We announced we were pregnant to our family by gathering for a group photo, but in reality, we were just recording their reactions!" she added

'Now, this is definitely a fun way to do a pregnancy reveal.

Shared by Isabel Wherry, this lovely footage features her posing for a family photo when her husband exclaims from the back, "Everybody smile, Isabel is pregnant."

At first, the family members think that the dad-to-be is just messing with them. However, slowly it gets revealed that he wasn't kidding.
