Rescuers transferred 13,000 pigs trapped in flash floods caused by heavy rain in southern China.

Video filmed in Hechi in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on June 10 shows deep floodwater submerging a shed and pigs getting trapped inside at a pig sanctuary called Black Alpine Pig Ecological Breeding Company.

150 rescuers including firefighters, armed police, police officers, and local residents saved the pigs and transferred them out of the flooding water safely.

The rescuers reportedly retrieved saved the company's financial bacon to the tune of $1.6 million by saving the swine.
