Paraglider appears just as Strawberry Supermoon rises over Gatehouse in Kent, UK

By luck a para-glider appeared 'in shot' just as the almost full Strawberry Supermoon rose above historic Shurland Hall gatehouse in Eastchurch, Kent, UK this evening (June 13).

The unexpected flying figure with para-motor appeared exactly as Earth's celestial neighbour rose above the centre towers of the imposing building.

The 16th-century gatehouse was played host to Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn in October 1532 as part of their honeymoon, but after extensive restoration by Spitalfields Trust the property is now privately owned.

June's full moon is called the strawberry moon due to the short strawberry harvesting season in northeastern US and Canada at this time of year.
