A dust devil was caught updraft in the UK as filmer Oscar Joett was sitting in traffic on Monday (June 13) amid increasing temperatures.

Dust devils are exciting phenomena that form upward from the ground to the sky. It forms as a swirling updraft under sunny conditions during fair weather, rarely coming close to the intensity of a tornado.

Oscar Jowett caught this amazing weather phenomenon from inside his vehicle whilst in a stand still of traffic. This dust devil can be seen whipping up dust from inside what looks to be a construction site.

Dust Devils is a strong, well-formed, and relatively short-lived whirlwind, ranging from small to large. Dust devils are usually harmless, but can on rare occasions grow large enough to pose a threat to both people and property.
