Cliff divers were spotted training today (June 16) opposite the Eiffel Tower in Paris ahead of the Red Bull World Series event.

The athletes performed several practice dives from the 27-metre platform at Port Debilly into the Seine.

The competition, which begins on June 18, is being held in Paris for the first time.

A PLATFORM 27 METERS HIGH

A few days before the event, the 27-meter-high platform will begin to be erected in Port Debilly, on the right bank of the Seine, near the Jardins du Trocadéro. There, on D-Day, 12 divers will jump from 27 meters high and 12 female divers will jump 6 meters lower, from 21 meters high
