Chef makes cartoon pancake caricature of actor Will Smith
Footage shows how an artistic Thai chef cooks a delicious pancake caricature of actor Will Smith.
Thanabadee Tongan, 36, rustled up the sweet treat based on the Men In Black star from his market stall Happy Pancake at the Bo Thong Market in Chonburi province, eastern Thailand.
He was an airbrush painter before he turned to making hot pancakes which quickly became a crowd favourite because of their intricate designs.
The artistic cook hand pipes colourful batter to finish a portrait using pancake as a canvass.
Famous figures turned into pancakes to be eaten include British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Queen Elizabeth II, Vladimir Putin, Britney Spears and Christiano Ronaldo.
Thanabadee had even made a pancake of the historic TV moment Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars ceremony last month.
The chef said: 'I only started to become famous when I made videos and posted them on TikTok. Everybody loved it and I think I might move to Bangkok as there are more customers over there.
'My stall has grown in popularity and now people come here just to watch me make the pancakes.'
With his artistic experience, Thanabadee squeezes the hot flour and form awesome celebrity and popular cartoons by just looking at his iPad screen.
The skilled chef can also make a portrait pancake by just looking at his customer's face.
Happy Pancakes opens every day from Monday to Saturday from 4 PM to late at night.
