Israeli forces prevent a protest against settlement by Palestinian and foreign activists near outpost of Givat Ronen in Burin village, near the West Bank city of Nablus on Friday (June 17).

At least five Palestinians and two international solidarity activists were reportedly hit by rubber-coated rounds today and many others suffocated from teargas, as Israeli occupation forces clamped down on anti-occupation protesters in the village of Burin, to the south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) said seven civilians were injured by Israeli rubber-coated rounds in Burin, including two international activists, while another 22 people were treated for suffocation due to tear gas inhalation.

Last night, a group of Israeli settlers allegedly attacked Palestinian civilians and vehicles and sprayed them with pepper gas outside the village of Duma, nearby, causing cases of suffocation from gas inhalation.
