One man has been rushed to hospital following around 10 men pursuing the victim before stabbing him in the legs. It is believed the altercation happened around 3am this morning at the top of Market Street in Manchester

"It was an altercation between up to 10 males at around 3:30am on Market Street, one male in his 20s has been taken to hospital with stab wounds to his legs"
UPDATED STATEMENT
" Shortly before 3am today (18 June) a man in his 20s was pursued by a group of males and was stabbed on Market Street in Manchester city centre. He is currently in hospital being treated for stab wounds to his legs that aren’t believed to be life-threatening.No arrests have been made but enquiries are ongoing to identify the offenders.
Reports on social media that someone had been beheaded are inaccurate"
