Aerial visuals showcase Peru's Nazca Lines, geoglyphs etched into the desert sands around 2,000 years ago.

The footage from October 2020 reveals the colossal scale of the designs that have so far withstood the test of time.

The filmer told Newsflare: "We flew the drone for about three hours and could only capture the ones you see in this video. There are nearly 300 different figures, including animals and plants."

According to National Geographic, the lines were drawn by the Nazca people who lived between 1 and 700 A.D. The drawings were created by removing rock and earth to create a negative image in the ground.
