The Directorate General of Immigration today, Wednesday (22/6/2022) deported a 48-year-old Japanese citizen named Mitsuhiro, a suspect in the Covid-19 Social Assistance fraud case in Japan. After becoming an illegal stay (Article 119 of Law No. 6 of 2011) because his passport had been revoked by the Japanese Embassy, ​​Mitsuhiro was also subject to Article 75 of Law No. 6 of 2011 for allegedly endangering security and public order or not respecting and obeying the laws and regulations. Mitsuhiro is known to have entered Indonesia in 2020 with a limited stay visa for investors. Mitsuhiro's last residence permit was a KITAS issued by the Immigration Office Class 1 for TPI South Jakarta on April 19, 2021 and valid until June 17, 2023.
