Ceiling collapses under weight of beehive in China
A ceiling collapsed under the weight of a huge beehive in eastern China.
Aftermath video filmed in the city of Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province on June 18 shows a firefighter in protective clothing using a broom to clean the bees and collapsed ceiling on the floor.
The house owner told Jiangsu TV that they had bees flying into their house but they did not pay attention to it.
They heard a loud noise when they were resting in the bedroom on that day and went to check. They then saw lots of bees on the floor in their living room and a huge hole in the ceiling.
Firefighters reportedly cleaned more than 30 kilograms of honey.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
