Archaeological site is found during the excavation of the work on the Subway neighborhood in Bixiga in Sao Paulo, in an area of an old court of the Vai-Vai samba school. Experts believe that the findings are of materials left by quilombolas and descendants of enslaved peoples. A part of the future 14 Bis station is being built on the site. Works have not been interrupted and specialists are monitoring the excavations.
