Bristol Airport passengers experience lengthy queues again as strikes hit European travel hubs

Bristol Airport, North Somerset, UK. 24th June 2022. Once again holidaymakers and commuters flying from Bristol Airport experience lengthy queues pre 4.30am. The disruption comes as Ryanair flights are to be affected from today across Europe, with strikes set to take place over the weekend in five countries. Staff from the budget airline in Spain, Italy, France, Portugal and Belgium are planning walk-outs over pay and working conditions, among other disputes. Heathrow Airport's British Airways crew have also voted in favour of going on strike amid rows over pay, it was announced by the GMB and Unite Unions which will likely be held during the height of the summer holidays.
