Exclusive video filmed by a survivor of the deadly Amtrak derailment in Missouri on June 27 shows passengers escaping from the train in the immediate aftermath of the incident.

The footage also shows part of the wreckage of the truck the train slammed into at a rail crossing near the town of Mendon.

About 243 passengers were on board the Los Angeles-Chicago train when it came off the tracks.

This footage was filmed by passenger Dax McDonald who was travelling with family members.
