An artist in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is attempting to set the record for the world's largest painting using coffee.

Shiv Manikpuri began the painting of his mother on June 17 and completed it on June 27, spending five hours each day on the artwork.

The finished product is 240 square metres big and Manikpuri has submitted his attempt to Guinness World Records. Around 6 kilograms of coffee grains were used during this attempt.

Manikpuri, who has been known for his rangoli artwork, said: "In my life, there is no one bigger than my mother."

INDIA(Chhattisgarh) Shiv Manikpuri completed his world’s largest coffee painting. He is making this painting in the KPS School Campus located in Sarona, Raipur. A huge painting is being prepared on a large ground, in this painting, Shiva has engraved the picture of his mother.

Shiva Manikpuri started this campaign on 17th June. The work of making the painting first started with applying primer to the fabric. After this, Shiva kept giving about 5 hours every day to complete this painting, now on June 27, after about 10 days this painting is being completed. Shiva has presented it as the biggest coffee painting ever.. Shiva has prepared this huge painting in 240 square meters.

A waterproof pandal has been prepared in the school in collaboration with Rakesh Mishra so that the painting is safe. About Rs, 6.5 lakh was spent with everyone’s cooperation. The attempt may be successful. If all goes well, the name of this artwork created by Shiva will be recorded in the world’s most prestigious world record book, the Guinness Book of World Records

Shiva of Raipur has been associated with painting and Rangoli art for the last many years. They do this work professionally. Shiva, who has often won the hearts of people through rangoli and painting in many competitions and programs, said that it has been a long time for him to register his name in the Guinness Book of World Records. When it was possible, he thought of making a picture of his mother, Shiva says in my life there is no one bigger than my mother.

Shiva told that earlier the record for making paintings with coffee is recorded in the name of Dubai-based artist Ohud Abdullah Almalki, who had prepared the painting with 4.5 kg of coffee grains. The size of the painting made by Shiva is also very big. Shiva is using 6 kg of coffee. Because of this, Shiva is confident that he will be able to register his name in the Guinness Book of World Records by breaking the record of Dubai artists.

Shiva will provide every angle of his painting, videography, photography, and information of witnesses to the reputed record agency of London, then this record will be confirmed after the whole process. Earlier, Shiva registered his name in the World Book of Records by making a huge rangoli of the Prime Minister of my country, Narendra Modi.
