Locals are tucking into giant meat ball soup at a noodle restaurant in Thailand.

Customers can order the special dish made with hot broth, vegetables, spices, and meatball that takes up more than half of the large bowl.

Footage shows cooks preparing the meatball soup with heaped portions in Chonburi province on Monday June 27.

Restaurant owner Kamin Wongsawat said the original dish with 1kg of pork meat could only be ordered from their store.

He said: ‘Our unique noodle menu is only available here. I have opened this shop with my relatives three months ago.'

A bowl costs 80 baht (1.84 GBP) for a regular soup while the special one costs 180 baht (4.15 GBP).

Other dishes from the restaurant include minced porn noodles and a local Thai dessert called Ka Nhom Thuy or coconut milk custard served in a small cup.
