An activist confronted police officers over new laws that will restrict protests deemed to be too noisy or disruptive.

The activist, known as Steve Bray, was seen dismissing the officers' attempts to show him a map of where he can protest.

The Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act came into force on Tuesday (June 28) and created a new offence of “intentionally or recklessly causing public nuisance".
