Groom is carried across swollen river on wedding day in Thailand
This is the amusing moment a groom was across a swollen river to reach the altar on time.
The groom, Khun Ohm, 26, was on the way to the reception but heavy rainfall the night before had blocked one road and caused a stream to swell.
Footage shows how he had to be carried through the deluge to avoid ruining his pristine white wedding suit.
Fortunately, he reached the ceremony in time for the vows in Trang, southern Thailand, on June 22, 2022.
Ohm said: 'I didn't want to arrive late for the first day of married life. My bride would not have been happy, especially if I had been dirty, too.'
